It depends on how much writing I do. The more (and more often) I write, the more I can make use of a thesaurus. Plus, any app that can hold my attention in such a way as to make me lose time (went to look up one word, came up for air after 30 minutes) is worth something. Perhaps not $29 worth. This would make a dandy gift for my nephew, though.
