Game Dev Status 1/16/08
I just put a new beta out there where Chris can have a look and give
it the good housekeeping seal of approval.
This is officially Beta 8. I converted the application from Visual
C++ 6.0 to Visual Studio 2005. I made a few fixes and wrote an
installer that has a few bells and whistles. Here are some glimpses of
the welcome page and the Test Guidelines page
On receiving Chris' approval, we're going to send the file location
(13 Mb download) and the password to people we have received NDA's
from, and invite other members of the Beta group to download, sign, and
return the NDA.
My next task is to concentrate on the AI. I want Beta 9 to have an AI
that performs well in the Divisional fight for infantry and artillery.
On a personal note I recently passed my Microsoft certification test
70-528 (.Net 2.0 Web Development) and so I have a bit more free time
and motivation to move forward.
