Game Dev Status 8/24/06

July ~13 total hours. August ~2 hours. Yearly total 66 hours.

I fixed a problem with the AI serialization last night. It was causing the game to AV when the Debug AI Info dialog was displayed.

Fixing this allows me to move forward (at last) to work on some AI behavioral problems.

On a personal note, I begin working as a Senior Business Applications Developer for Administaff in September. I hope to be able to do more regular work on the game after the dust settles from that change in employment.

Nice link in today's SD Times newsletter on staying focused at work. Mostly been there, done that, got the T-shirt, brown, quarter sleeve, but I'm going to give 2, 3, and 5 a try, as soon as I finish reading the SD Times newletter e-mail (anti-5).

Makes me want to go out and disc jump for old times' sake.
